My inquiry is based on how fair trade effects all levels of people in the supply chain. Some of the main points I looked at to guide my research were how ethics affect business and businesses, how marketing affects fair trade sales, and the importance of selling and buying fair trade on a global level. Some of the sources that helped my research the most were an interview I conducted with a fair trade small business owner, a book I read about the effects of fair trade in third world countries, and paper resources are given to me by my grandfather who is a fair trade business owner.
This website is a mock fair trade store website. On here I have fair trade products, a blog, and an about me sections that are all similar to a real fair trade website online store. Thought the blog I explain ethical factors and their importance within a business. Though the products page I showed how fair trade products are marketed.
This product life cycle shows a real business, Patagonia, and how three of their products have gone through a life cycle. I show three different eras of Patagonia, original Patagonia. organic Patagonia, and fair trade Patagonia, and how these factors affected their life cycles.
