Hi KISU,
March was a snooze, but April is where the fun starts! International Day is on April 11th with games, performances, and world-on-table food fest. KISU community this is our moment - bring a dish from your culture - whatever screams HOME! to you. Email us and we will send you a sign up sheet from Ms. Tracy (event organizer- she is pulling everything together).
Our Secondary school sports squad is spiking up into volleyball season- game dates are out already - so get ready to support our students. Primary parents and guardians, your kids are off the ISSAK sports this term, giving them time to brainpower in classes.
Here is the snack of the month from me. Octopus snack- take gonja crisps for tentacles stick them into an apple or mango ( head). Use some Raisin as eyes. And this could a be fast and fun school snack for kids.
Did you know that Octopuses have three hearts? Tell this to your kids on your dinner time, I bet they will be amazed.
April’s going to be a wild ride. And we can’t wait to see you bringing your culture and your cheers there! Let’s make this International Day one for the books!
Best regards,
Nurzada
