Grade 10 Spring Trip

Grade 10 Spring Trip Summary: April 24, 2019

KIS High School has developed an amazing opportunity for our students to experience a classroom without walls. We will be taking all the high school students out to explore and learn in the beautiful natural areas of Korea on April 24, 2019. We will leave KIS around 8:15am on the morning of Wednesday, April 24th and return later that day at 2:30pm to ensure students can ride the bus home. Our grade 10 students will be going to the Han River near, Ttukseom Resort.

Although we will not be on campus during this time, this day is considered typical school day. These learning opportunities are a vital part of the High School curriculum and adhere to our school wide goals. Grade 10 students will be working in small groups to accomplish transdisciplinary activities and will be accompanied by their teachers and guides who are there to help facilitate the activities throughout the day.

Students will be transported by school-arranged busing. The school insurance will cover your student while we are out in the field, just like it does here at school. We will have medical personnel on each trip, along with many staff certified in first aid, life guarding, and CPR to take care of any minor medical issues that may arise.

In the TRIP RESOURCES section of this page you will find links to the permission slip/medical form, a packing list, the itinerary, and all other information you will need to have a safe and enjoyable trip.

Thank you for supporting this exciting, experiential education trip. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
