At Kingswood Primary, we value the wellbeing of every child and know the importance of taking time to pause, breathe, and reset. Mini meditation is a simple, calming activity you can enjoy with your child at home – it can be as short as one or two minutes.
Taking this time together helps children develop focus, manage their emotions, and build resilience. It’s also a wonderful way to connect as a family, share a peaceful moment, and support a positive mindset.
You don’t need any special equipment – just a quiet space, a comfortable seat, and a willingness to slow down. Try breathing in slowly for four counts, holding for four, and breathing out for four, while gently focusing on the breath. Even a few moments of mindfulness can make a big difference to your child’s day.
