Zoya Khare is a 10-year-old actress currently in her second lead role in an EnActe Arts youth production. EnActe has nurtured her enthusiasm for storytelling since she joined their theater arts programs at Khan Lab School in 2019. She is the editor, reporter, and cruciverbalist for KoronaTimes.com, her own newspaper. As an entrepreneur, she won a business plan award for Kids' Own Writing at Zoya.biz. Inspired by the Magic Treehouse time-travel series, she wrote Following in the Footsteps of Freedom, about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the March on Washington in 1963, at Zoya.biz/MLK. Some of her other accomplishments include:
Learning to draw people that don’t send you to the other side of the room, shaking and shivering in a state of fear from their magical smiles!
Learning to code music! (Granted, it was Hot Cross Buns, and with a partner who plays the recorder, and they had a cheat sheet, but we all have to start somewhere, right?)
Making her own quills! Got the feather, got the ink, got the Exacto knife!
