Before you recycle or crumple up your old papers, there's a quick and easy way to turn them into a creative new accessory. Let's make some folded paper bracelets together!
MATERIALS:
Paper (recycled, multicolored, or the color of your choice)
Scissors
Ruler
Coloring Tools (Optional)
Pencil/Eraser
INSTRUCTIONS:
Take the piece of paper and cut at least 16 - 22 pieces, all of them measuring 3 by 12 centimeters. To give you an idea of the measurements, 18 strips would fit on a ten-year-old’s wrist. This is so that we have a foundation of pieces to fold or intertwine into a bracelet.
Time to assemble the bracelet. Take each strip and fold it in half, then fold it in half again. Do this for every strip. See the following images and directions on the right to complete the bracelets.
