MATERIALS:
Contact Paper
Ribbon (any color)
Scissors
Glitter/Confetti (any color)
Hole Puncher
Decorative Tape
INSTRUCTIONS:
Begin with cutting two rectangles on the contact sheet, each 2 inches wide and 7 inches long. This will make an ideal bookmark shape—not too big, but long enough to fit the page.
Quickly, sprinkle a lot of glitter and confetti on one of the rectangles The glitter/confetti will make the bookmark sparkle and give it a personal touch. You can use whichever color of glitter you like.
Now, place the other rectangle on top of the one with glitter. This will make the glitter/confetti be in between both rectangles, like a sandwich.
Next, make a border with the decorative tape on the sides of both rectangles. Fancy tape will make the bookmark look beautiful!
Then, punch a hole on the top where the tape is, a few centimeters from the top edge. You will tie a knot here.
Lastly, to add the finishing touch, tie your ribbon in the hole, making a simple double knot. This will help you find your page in your book easily and quickly.
That's it! Now, you’re ready to get reading!
