ANNOTATION: For the final project in the Cultural Heritage Informatics class, I created a website to host a collection of images related to the Maggie L. Walker Memorial. This project included item identification, metadata schema creation, and the creation of item-level metadata as well as a work record using CCO and controlled vocabularies. Contextual information about the memorial was presented as an interactive timeline. The website was created using user experience design principles.
SAA Core Values:
Expand access and usage opportunities for users, and potential users, of archival records.
