ANNOTATION: The individual project for Digital Libraries included the creation of a collection domain policy, collection scope policy, and metadata policy which is used in conjunction with the class-created metadata application profile. Ten items were digitized and described using metadata best practices and controlled vocabularies. A website was designed for the collection images, metadata, policies, and mock-user interfaces following UX principles. As part of the website creation process, a user persona was created to guide design. Special attention was given to copyright considerations, including a rights metadata field, notes on usage, and the partial digitization of books and other published materials.
