Advanced Studies Program at St. Paul's for summer 2025
The fully residential ASP is built to evoke the academic community of a college. Students, interns and faculty study, eat, play and live together in single-sex dormitories. The program makes use of virtually every facility at the School, from the Astronomy Center and the Engineering Lab to Orhstrom Library and the Athletic and Fitness Center. This depth of shared experience — with students invited from over 80 high schools across the state — allows for academic experimentation, personal growth and connecting with the natural world throughout the 2,000 acres of the grounds. Graduates of the ASP know that as they look ahead to their life after high school they are prepared academically and socially to excel in college. https://www.sps.edu/asp-summer

Athletic Eligibility Reminders for Winter/Spring
To represent Kearsarge in interscholastic athletics, a student must be a full time student which means registered for and attending the equivalent of 5 courses per semester.
A student must pass a minimum of four (4) classes during the quarter prior to the season of participation in order to be eligible; therefore eligibility will be based off of the following:
Winter Season – Quarter 1 (Most, if not all, winter seasons extend beyond the 2nd quarter, therefore a second-grade check will be conducted based on 2nd quarter grades to determine continued eligibility)
Spring Season – Quarter 3
* Home school students must contact the Athletic Director to have eligibility affidavit filled out and filed by the Principal with the NHIAA prior to the first contest*
** Semester grades are not used to determine eligibility **
Work Ready NH: ELO
4 students are midway through the KRHS pilot of WorkReadyNH, a practical, professional skills-based course historically offered through our community colleges. The course is being taught at the high school by a community instructor and will culminate in students taking National Career Readiness Assessments, issued by ACT.

The NEASC Commission on Public Schools, one of three commissions within NEASC, accredits and supports public elementary, middle, and high schools, and career and technical schools/centers throughout the six states of New England. With a structured, ongoing cycle of self-reflection, peer review, school improvement, and monitoring, NEASC assists schools in ensuring that all students experience a high-quality education.
As part of an ongoing 10-year accreditation cycle, families are being asked to help Kearsarge Regional High School reflect on our practices by providing survey feedback. This process of self-reflection provides for continuous reassessment in light of both changing school and community needs and advances in pedagogy and school administration/organization.
You can find more information on NEASC on the Resources for Public Schools page.
The link to the family survey will be mailed out separately on November 1, 2024. There is no password protection for the survey. Anyone with the link can complete the survey. Once someone begins the survey, they must complete the entire survey in one session. If they leave the survey, they will lose all their progress and be required to start from the beginning.
If you have already completed this survey, there is no need to complete it again.
This survey will be emailed to families Friday, November 1st and will remain open for completion through November 18th.
A school-wide advisory competition was held on Halloween to see which advisory could create a winning pumpkin creation! Teachers evaluated the displays on creativity, completeness, and the promotion of the Halloween and school spirit.
