To the students and families that I have been graciously entrusted to educate:
I am excited to welcome students back physically to Kearsarge Regional High School. Covid - 19 has sought to separate us, but it is in your resilience that we listened to and are enthusiastic to welcome you to our classrooms. We have listened to our communities, our families, and our students to continue this ever changing great experiment that rivals many throughout our country's great history.
We will continue to listen and I know that with your help, patience, and flexibility we will weather our changed learning environments with grace and poise. I am overjoyed to welcome each and every one of my students wholeheartedly with a warm smile (behind my mask, of course). I will listen to each of you as we experiment with our classroom, our content, and our school. At times obstacles may stand in the way of our experiment, however by listening to each other we can overcome these challenges to ensure that our experiment succeeds.
We will have fun delving into the history of this great country and explore how the United States has and will continue to withstand the test of time. In Psychology, we will investigate how the brain functions and works as well as how this magnificent organ impacts our daily life.
However, most of all we will listen to each other no matter the content area to garner a greater understanding of ourselves and our future.
Throughout our remote learning environment both at home and in school, I will consistently post Homework and Assessments on my Google Classrooms (https://classroom.google.com/) to provide copies of handouts, assessments, updates, due dates, and etc. I will listen to parents and guardians who want to be added to my Google Classroom to understand the content that is being delivered. I will listen to my students and differentiate tools utilized throughout my lessons that will be integral to our success throughout the year. I would ask that students and families advocate early and often with any issues so that I can appropriately listen, process, and resolve the issue.
Please feel free to peruse my entire website and I look forward to listening and learning from each one of you! Please feel free to contact me at croddy@kearsarge.org as I check my email much more often than my voicemail.
I promise to listen to each and everyone of you to lead us to success this school year!
