HYPE

The conference is held each year at UNH Durham, and consists of interactive sessions in a small group format. Each student will spend most of the day in a Socratic seminar-style discussion led by student facilitators from the HYPE leadership schools. Each group consists of between 8 to 12 students who come from various schools in the New England region. We hope to see you soon!

I am offering an exciting opportunity in partnership with 50 other high schools as well as with St. Anselm College, Merrimack College, the NH Humanities Council, and of course, UNH Durham. The HYPE (Hosting Young Philosophy Enthusiasts) Conference will be held on Thursday March 14th at UNH Durham. The program will start in the Hamel Recreation Center at 9 am (We would leave KRHS at 7:15 am). The day will end at 1 pm at the Memorial Union Building.

This year’s HYPE essential question will be: What role does media play in our society?
