The Kansas City Chiefs got a 26-7 victory over the Miami Dolphins in the AFC Wild Card game. The Chiefs had great performances from players such as Rashee Rice, Isiah Pacheco and Harrison Butker. Rice and Pacheco made significant contributions by finding the end zone in their playoff debut, while Butker's accurate kicking added to the Chiefs' point tally with four successful field goals.
The game, which took place at Arrowhead Stadium, had extremely cold conditions, with temperatures as low as -4°. The cold was further intensified by wind gusts of up to 27 mph, resulting in a chilling wind of -27°F. These harsh weather conditions had a significant challenge to both teams throughout the game.
Rice finished the game with eight receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown. He set a new Chiefs rookie postseason record for receiving yards in a game in that was the coldest game in franchise history. Pacheco had run for 84 yards and had 1 touchdown. Butker went 4/4 in field goals.
