A Week of Thrills and Triumphs

Lincoln College Prep’s homecoming week was an eventful extravaganza, filled with spirited activities that brought the entire school community together. From the highly anticipated football game to the pep rally, students and faculty alike reveled in the festivities.

The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the intense football game between the Lincoln Tigers and their arch-rivals, the Oak Grove Panthers. The stadium was buzzing with excitement as both teams clashed on the field. The Tigers fought valiantly, displaying remarkable teamwork and determination. As the clock ticked down, the crowd erupted in cheers as the Tigers secured a thrilling victory, with star quarterback, Aaron Rimson, leading the charge.

“This win means everything to us. We’ve worked so hard, and it feels amazing to come out on top,” said Rimson, beaming with pride.

The homecoming pep rally was a sight to behold, showcasing the creativity and enthusiasm of LCPA students. Students from various clubs, organizations and sports teams showcased their talents.

Throughout the week, students participated in a series of spirited events, each day dedicated to a different theme. From Decades day to Student-Teacher Swap day, the hallways were transformed into a kaleidoscope of costumes and laughter.

Homecoming week was an unforgettable celebration, uniting students, faculty, and the community in a shared sense of pride and camaraderie. The football game, pep rally, and spirit week activities showcased the school’s vibrant spirit and the dedication of its students.

As the week came to a close, the memories created during homecoming week would forever hold a special place in the hearts of the Lincoln Tigers.
