Teaching Philosophy
Snow
My teaching philosophy is based on creating a safe and fun environment for children to learn and express their creativity. I believe in celebrating small successes and providing positive reinforcement. I strive to make every child feel valued and supported in my classroom.
以幼兒為中心,並了解每位幼兒都是獨一無二的個體,尊重各別差異在適當的時候給予協助、因材施教。讓幼兒有充分表達自己想法、能夠展現自己的機會。將好品格落實在日常生活中,培養出有自信及勇敢的孩子。
Star
Success comes in many different forms not just from being the smartest, strongest, or anything in-between. At this age so long as the children are trying and experiencing new things they are moving in the right direction. It is my job to maximize these experiences with them as they grow.
好奇、探索,是孩子的天性,在安全的情況下,我將陪著孩子共同探索與成長。在探索的過程中,發掘更多未知的事物,拓展自己的視野;在成長的過程中,累績更多的經驗與智慧,培養解決問題的能力,成為一個懂得獨立思考的孩子。
Sky
I prefer to use positive encouragement systems at this stage of development to help reinforce a productive learning environment. Our young learners are being introduced to learning for the first time, and I prefer to encourage their positive behaviors and development rather than focus on negatives.
以孩子為中心,尊重和重視每個孩子的個性和發展階段,並且在教學中注重孩子的情感、認知、社交和身體發展。我相信每個孩子都是獨一無二的,他們擁有自己的學習風格和興趣愛好,期許孩子們在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中學習,發掘自己的潛能和創造力。
Sunshine
I try to keep in mind that education is a journey, and that a journey of 1000 miles begins with one step. My goal is to make the first few steps of that journey as positive and enjoyable as possible, to set each student up for a successful journey… wherever they end up.
希望營造一個以孩子為主且正面的學習環境,並且希望鼓勵孩子們願意嘗試新事物,碰到困難懂得想辦法解決,孩子能夠發展獨立自主的思考力及潛力。
Forest
I believe that all children are unique. They, as individuals, bring their personalities and character to the educational environment. The early childhood classroom is a place for children to actualize their potential to freely develop, learn, and grow with the respect they are entitled to. Each child has a voice and the environment we build cultivates the confidence to be heard.”
在安全以及相互尊重的前提下,給與孩子們許多探索、求知的空間;並在亦師亦友的角色互動模式當中,一起陪伴孩子成長、進步,進而成為有禮貌、負責任的人。
Ocean
My teaching philosophy is based on Montessori principles. This approach to education emphasizes individual learning and self-directed exploration. I believe that each child has unique interests, talents and learning styles, and it is my role as a teacher to guide them to reach their full potential.
幫助孩子探索世界的美好,努力成就每一位孩子,永保樂觀進取,感恩善良的心,將良善的種子植入孩子的心中,期望有朝一日孩子也能成為幫助別人生命成長的人。
River
I believe that it is a teacher’s job to set the tone in the classroom. To show through example the value that each student has as an individual. Education is about helping children discover their fullest potential. Education does not have a finish line, and it is the teacher’s job to build and nurture a lifelong love of learning. Every child has unique strengths, weaknesses, and personalities, and it is the teacher’s responsibility to teach lessons so that all students can succeed.
培養孩子「眼到、耳到、心到」,並從「做中學」獲取寶貴經驗,同時重視品格教育,從中學習尊重、自信、禮貌、真誠與分享愛。
Cloud
My teaching philosophy is that students should be helped to progress naturally through the logical steps upward in understanding by a learning environment that is suited to their interests and attention. When students are cared for and engaged with on their level, their progress through early education is an experience that fosters academic, social and personal growth. The most positive outcome a teacher will aim for is a happy student that is confident in their ability to learn and apply new skills and concepts. We love for everyone to be a part of the learning process together and follow their curiosity.
透過生活學習、人的互動、對話等方式,協助幼兒以良善的語言與人相處。注重「做中學」的學習理念,以開放式教育的精神,提供豐富多元的主題課程,引領孩子為未來做生活與學習的能力準備。
Winter
As a Kindergarten teacher, I aim to create fun and happy memories for the children through hands-on, active learning experiences. It is important that children learn through play as much as possible, and that lessons are fun, exciting and engaging. I always ensure I create a safe, secure and comfortable environment for students. I am a big believer that it is okay to make mistakes, as that's how we learn, and that effort should be rewarded, as well as success! Happy students = happy teacher!
與孩子教學相長,我們帶給孩子學習的動機,孩子也會用清澈又純真的情感與我們交流,期盼孩子在幼兒園階段都能開心成長,用正確的心態迎接未來挑戰。
Autumn
As a kindergarten teacher, I believe that my teaching style leans towards "essentialism", which focuses on the core knowledge and skills that students need to succeed in life. As an essentialist teacher, I prioritize traditional subjects and day-to-day skills to make sure students have the necessary foundations for the future.
孩子是個獨立的個體,能從生活中探索、學習、成長,而在學齡期學習的階段,我們引導幼兒思考、解決問題的能力,並養成幼兒互助合作、彼此關懷的情操,期許孩子們能從做中學中養成獨立自主的能力。
Spring
Have fun, be yourself and show everyone what you can do! These are the concepts I like my students to have in mind when in my classroom. The ability to for a young learner to think outside the box or express what’s on their mind confidently without shame is important to me, so I focus on creating an environment that ensures this can happen.
尊重每位孩子的想法與發展上的個別差異,引導孩子思考大自然與人類社會運作的方式,了解與他人相處的方式、探索自我的興趣,陪伴孩子快樂地成長。
Summer
I hear and may forget. I observe and begin to remember. I do, and then I know how to. So, to actualize our dreams, we must do something about it.
幼兒階段以孩子開心、安全為主,並引導孩子思考解決問題,希望孩子未來面對任何困難都能永不放棄及找出方法。
