Our living site will change quarterly with varied content reflecting global diversity. It is intended as a source of some information and an opportunity to reflect on cultures, experiences, and events but is not designed to cover everything. Please do check back to see refreshed content soon.

Attend a Local Disability Pride Event
Find parades, art exhibitions or talks in your area. Many UK cities now host inclusive events – check community centres or this Disability Pride Month UK page for info.
Learn Basic British Sign Language (BSL)
Start with free lessons at British-sign.co.uk and challenge your team or learners to sign greetings and names.
Host a “Barrier Walk” or Inclusion Audit
Explore your workplace, classroom, or neighbourhood from a disabled person's perspective. What needs changing?
Join a South Asian Heritage Month Event
Find food fairs, dance performances, or storytelling sessions at southasianheritage.org.uk. Or host your own celebration at work or school.
Mark International Equal Pay Day (18 Sept)
Encourage open dialogue on pay equity. Attend a panel like Includability’s Equal Pay Day Event, or run a gender pay gap reflection session with your team.
Run an Intersectionality Reflection Workshop
Use case studies to explore how overlapping identities affect lived experience. Check Mission Diverse for templates.
Join World Alzheimer’s Month Campaigns
Volunteer, donate, or host a memory café. See what’s happening via Alzheimer’s International.
Celebrate Bi Visibility Day (23 Sept)
Spotlight bi+ voices in your workplace or classroom. Share a story, host a safe-space conversation, or explore guidance from Stonewall.
Commit to an Inclusive Culture Year-Round
Use this Inclusive Workplace Guide to take one new inclusive action a week – from celebrating cultural holidays to updating hiring language.
