The Nagore Durgha Mosque, located at Telok Ayer Street, was built by Muslims of South India. It has been gazetted as a national monument. The mosque also sits along the same street at Thian Hock Keng Temple, reflecting Singapore’s racial harmony. The mosque has been converted to an Indian Muslim Heritage Centre.

MacKenzie Road was once a bustling area with people flocking to Rex Cinema to watch mmerovies like Jaws and sit down to eat delicious hawker food like seafood hor fun and beef kuay teow at the Ellison building. Reconstruction by the authorities will lead to a loss of our heritage.
