"Singing In The Rain" is basically made out of old cassette tapes that have been obsolete. It has been in my collection for the past 30 years. Something that is old and deemed as "Trash" has transformed into something new. It has also a dual functionality. One as an umbrella holder and the other as an art installation for your home interior decor.
This masterpiece is a relic, reminiscing my childhood days where we used to sing and play in the rain with other children in the village. Without any worries of getting sick, just for the sake of having fun. With no technology at that point of time, listening to music via cassette tapes is a sheer entertainment. Here, there is no music as it is all in your mind. You could play any genre of music, only that your mind could perceive.
I could still remember vividly, using a pencil, poking through the hole to rewind or forward in an anticlockwise or clockwise motion from the cassette tape.
The good old days.
