Staff Arrest

This morning district administration was informed that the XX law enforcement division arrested XX STAFF NAME, of SCHOOL/ROLE. The reason for his arrest was suspicion of XX. This is an ongoing investigation and we expect more information will be available XX timeline. The XX law enforcement division informed district officials that no district students are connected to the investigation.

STAFF NAME is on leave. The school district has a separate investigation process that needs to be followed regarding STAFF NAME employment. That process has started, and it takes time to complete.

“This is a difficult day for our students, parents and community,” said Superintendent XX. “There are questions that we want answers to and we’re working with law enforcement as they conduct an investigation to find those answers.”

This news is a shock to the school and to our district. One of the most difficult things about these situations is that information is very limited. There is nothing more that can be shared at this time. More information will likely come out through the XX LAW ENFORCEMENT DIVISION.

XX SCHOOL OR PROGRAM NAME has built a reputation for excellence and we will continue to focus on our students’ success. This will be a difficult time, and we will get through it. Our work on this situation is only beginning. Today, XX SCHOOL or DEPARTMENT staff was focused on their students and on dealing with this unfortunate news.
