Kaimuki High School
AVID and Lōkahi Club students met representatives from colleges & universities from all over the United States and around the world at the NACAC National College Fair, on Tuesday, October 14. AVID students were so impressed by the interactions that they had with the college representatives who took the time to answer their questions with respect and kindness. They had fun learning about all of their college options, learned about WUE (Western Undergraduate Exchange) schools, and they received college swag. Mahalo to our chaperones who made this field trip possible: Mrs. Tang, Mr. Nishi, Mr. T. Anderson, & AVID Alumni Ari.
Our first AVID field trip was to attend the McKinley vs. Kaimuki Girls Volleyball games on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. When we arrived, our WMS alumni greeted us at the bus with hugs & so much enthusiasm. We had so much fun cheering on our WMS alumni on both teams. We are so proud of how far our Student Athletes have come!
