Writing Strategies
Students are faced with a variety of timed writing situations ranging from in-class essay exams to college admission and placement exams. Skills and strategies are needed to effectively compose and write an essay in a short period of time. Knowing the guidelines and rubrics for scoring a timed writing essay will prepare students for writing in any circumstance where there is a limited time to write. (MyAVID.org)
