We all want to be luxury cars

The fastest, most efficient

The sleekest design, the highest quality interior

Some of us aren't built to look nice

We were built to get things done

People, our significant others, want the best

They want the fastest, most efficient

The sleekest design, the highest quality interior

Sometimes we sit at the lot for years

People look past us, focused on the better models

Some of us try to entice the buyers

New paint job, new car freshener

Some of us go to the body shop

New leather seats, a better set of tires

People like attractive cars

And so some of us sit until rusted, weathered, done-in

Hoping someone would come looking for a car like us

Sometimes we just need the right mechanic to come around

To fix our broken windshields

And put our engines back together

Simple cars can drive too

Maybe not so fast

Maybe we'll need a tune up here and there

We may need gas a little more often

But we'll still get you where you need to go
