Dear Parent / Carer

As we come to the end of an incredibly busy summer term, it is a pleasure to reflect on all that our students have achieved, both inside and outside the classroom. As you will see below, there are many wonderful stories highlighting the wide range of activities our students at The John Warner School have engaged in this half term.

The end of the summer term is always a time of farewell. We said goodbye to both our Year 11 and Year 13 cohorts, each marking the occasion in style — Year 13 at Ware Priory and Year 11 at Three Lakes. We look forward to welcoming some of our Year 11 students back as Year 12s, and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our leavers the very best as they move on to the next stage of their educational journey or into the world of work.

We also say farewell to some valued colleagues who are moving on to new opportunities at the end of this academic year: Mr Bower, Mr Cove, Mr Creasey, Miss Fraser, Mrs Halley, Mr Osmond, Mr Powala and Mr Stepton. I would like to thank them all for their hard work and dedication during their time at The John Warner School, and I am sure you will join me in wishing them every success and happiness in the future.

In September, we will be welcoming several new colleagues to the school: Mr Agbodjan, Miss Butorac, Mrs Crute Mussell (Inclusion Director for the Trust), Miss Guzeloglu, Mrs Hatley, Mrs Roberts (SENDCo), and Mr Sulaiman. We look forward to working with them and are excited about the contributions they will bring to our school community.

Finally, I wish you and your families a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer break.

Warmest regards

Chris Price
