Lights, camera, action! Welcome readers to the student spotlight. We will be introduced to the talent on the scene. So come along for the ride and get to know our new patriots!
Straight from Atlanta, Georgia, our first new patriot is Logan Houston. Logan is a freshman this year. He previously attended Brookwood Secondary School. He plays football and basketball. His current favorite teacher is Mrs. Robyn Foret. Logan said he wished he knew how close everyone would be on his first day of school. “ Everyone is like a family.’’
Ziya Nettles transferred to JCCS from Crescent City Christian School. She is a volleyball player who is interested in being involved in school clubs. You can catch her at the Key Club meetings and on the court making plays. Her most inspirational teacher so far is Mrs. Muller.
Presenting Jace King all the way from Ella Dolhonde. Jace is an athletic freshman who says, “I am just trying to make it through.” His favorite teacher is Mrs Guillie. Along playing basketball and soccer, Jace has a secret identity at Curtis…can you guess what it is?
Next up is a new 8th grade Patriot. Nisani enjoys dance and soccer during her time outside. Nisani was homeschooled last year, so this is her first school experience. She says her favorite teacher is Mrs. Foret. She is excited to meet all the new people.
Brought to us from Leo Kerner, one of our new 7th grade patriots is Christian Gingell. He enjoys making new friends, having a good time, and talking to his favorite teacher Coach Richard Englander. Christian said that he wishes he knew more about the bathroom rules. At his old school,
