💗Senior Night💗
Senior Night is a celebration that recognizes the dedication and effort of the senior volleyball athletes. It's a moment to acknowledge and value their leadership, development, and the memories they've made during their high school years. Their dedication both on and off of the court has influenced the team, and Senior Night is a way to honor their lasting impact on the program. It is an emotional moment to express gratitude for their commitment and commemorate their progress.
1.) What advice would you give to next years team, knowing what you know now?
Advice I would give to next year’s team is enjoy every moment because it’s over before you know it. You may think you have time but the state championship, the end of the season, and even the end of your volleyball career will be here before you know it so have fun and live in the moment. Â
2.) What was your favorite part about this season?
My favorite thing about this season was how close we all were and the friendships I made with my teammates that I will cherish forever.  Â
3.) What did you learn from this season?
I learned a lot of things this season but one that will stick with me forever is how communication is always key. This goes for on and off the court with your teammates and in your everyday life with friends and family.
1.) What advice would you give to upcoming freshmen that strive to be apart of the volleyball team?
I would tell upcoming freshmen to always be yourself and have a lot of energy.
2.) What was your favorite part about this season?
My favorite part about this season was being able to play against very good teams and be able to work together and celebrate.
3.) What did you learn from this season?
I learned that you don't always have to be the best to stand out. You can also stand out by talking and motivating your teammates.

The Lady Patriots Volleyball Team
Halloween Tournament
The Lady Patriots dressed as dalmations in the Skeleton Classic Tournament. The Patriots went undefeated for the weekend against St. Michael, Fontainebleau, Mandeville, and Covington.Â
Road to State
On November 6, 2024, the Lady Patriots swept Pine in only three sets. The first set was a whopping 25-1. Next, the last challenge to get to state was to defeat Welsh. On November 6, 2024, the Patriots took down Welsh in three sets and secured their spot in The Cajun Dome.Â
State Tournament
During an exciting state quarterfinals game, on November 13, 2024, the volleyball team displayed perseverance while securing victories in the first two sets through effective teamwork and strategic tactics, leading to a hopeful 2-0 score. The teamwork shown during the game was impressive, as strong serves and good communication helped the Patriots build their momentum. As the game went on, Dunham modified their strategies and got into their groove, resulting in a drastic change in the game's dynamics. In spite of the Patriots attempts to recover, they found it challenging to uphold their energy and ultimately did not succeed in the last three sets. The game didn't end as they had hoped, however, it highlighted the significance of determination and teamwork, giving valuable insights for the future. The Lady Patriots entered the state tournament as the #1 seed in their division and have much to be proud of.
