It's Fall Y'all
By: Haylee Ahysen
Happy Fall Patriots! We hope you all are having a great school year so far! Within this edition of the Patriot Picayune, you will discover activities that students have recently participated in and learn more about JCCS students and staff members. We encourage you all to go cheer on your classmates at athletic events, join a club, and to do something positive. Put that school spirit to work! We had many activities this month that we were thrilled to organize and host. This included our annual pink volleyball game, the Trunk or Treat at the Lower School, the art pumpkin contest, the Veterans Day program, chapels, FCA Faith Night, and the No Shave November contest.
Veterans Day

Rylee Simonson honored her father for his service.
No Shave November is an annual contest that allows male students, grades eighth through twelfth, to grow out their facial hair. Those who participated paid a fee of thirty dollars and were entered into the contest. The money raised was donated to Ochsner Foundation for cancer support. These boys were relieved from shaving for a month. Whoever has the most facial hair by the end of the month won a prize. The 2024 No Shave November winner was Bryce Hebert!
Worship Team members Jayden Logan and Grace Houston working behind the scenes at chapel.
Hannah Billson painting faces at the Lower School Trunk or Treat.
A group of junior girls ready for chapel.
8th grade girls ready to worship at the FCA Faith Night.
We salute you Curtis here today
In our hearts you will forever stay
May we always try to do our best
May our friendships be forever blest
To our colors red and white and blue,
Stand before the world so bright and true,
For our school and country free
Fighting Patriots we will be!
