The varsity baseball is officially back in season. The current record is 14-10. They are rebuilding and will be coming back stronger! Head Coach Jeff Curtis, said the goal is "to continue to help build each player to be a champion for life."

What keeps you motivated?
"What keeps me motivated during a game is knowing i'm going into a game and giving my teams all I got. also having confidence in myself that i'm going to be best on field that day."
what is one of your weakness, how can you improve.
"My biggest weakness is getting into my head after a bad game, but I can improve by trusting in my teammates knowing that they have my back and will pick me up."

Coach Jeff Curtis
How long have you been coaching?
"2000 was my first baseball season as an assistant coach. 2016 was my first season as head coach. So, 25th year as coach and 9th year as head coach."
How would your players describe you?
"Oh gosh…I’m not sure. I would hope they would describe me as Positive, Accountable, Tough and Selfless. Being that those are the four pillars of our baseball program, I hope I embody those principles and model that behavior."
What are you goals for this season?
"Well, the physical/on field goal is always the same….to win a state championship. However, the internal goals would be to continue to help build each player to be a champion for life."
Jc Vs. Ruston
The Varsity Baseball team played Ruston on February 22, 2025. They played a great game and fought hard 8-6. Jeffery Curtis collected three hits at four at bats.

JC Vs. Patterson
The Varsity Baseball team had an amazing game with great hits and awesome plays in the feild. . They won 15-0 in 3 innings.
JC VS. St. Martin episcopal
The Varsity Baseball team played St. Martins on March 8, 2025 at the Shaw Tournament. they played a great game and beat them 1-0 after a tight close game. Connor Micheu was the first and only person to score the whole game.
DIstrict opener VS Holy CRoss
The Varsity Baseball team played Holy Cross on March 12, 2025 @Harahan Playground at 6pm. They fought hard to get the win but fell short 3-2. Nate Alario led the team with 2 hits. Connor Micheau tripled in the bottom of the first inning.
JC VS. St. Augustine
The Varsity Baseball team played St. Aug on March 18th, 2025 at 7pm @Harahan. They had a long game of 10 innings with a tied 1-1 score. They had a tough lost 2-1. They played St. Aug again on March 20 at 6:30 at St. Augustine home field Curtis beat them 11-6.

JC Vs. Brother Martin
The Varsity Baseball team played Brother Martin on March 22th at 1pm @Harahan playground.They fought hard but fell short 10-5. The patriots came back and won 2-1 on March 25 at Brother Martin Home Field @6:30. The game was tied till the 6th inning. Nate Alario had two stolen bases collected in the game.
