Grade 6 - Java

Welcome to the Grade 6 Java ESP site!

Grade 6 will travel to Yogyakarta, the cultural heart of Java. While immersed in this setting, your child will participate in a range of artistic, historical, cultural, and environmental activities. For some of the activities, students will apply skills and knowledge from their Grade 6 science and social studies curriculum as they follow an inquiry approach to their units on geology and sustainability. Other activities will complement the students' Indonesian Studies curriculum. Throughout the week, we will endeavour to help our students develop the four JIS Learning Dispositions: Resilience, Resourcefulness, Reflectiveness, and Relating.
