J. Graham Brown School

Bear Essentials

June 1, 2022, Issue #38

Principal's Message

Dear Brown School family,

Last week was a whirlwind and a wonderful end to a school year filled with challenges. Thank you to everyone who supplied items for our 5th, 8th, and senior breakfasts and to those who volunteered. Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated our milestone events! Our high school commencement ceremony was live-streamed; you can watch the video from the link shared on our Facebook and Twitter pages. The link for the photos can be found there as well.

If you need to visit our school this summer, we are under construction. We will be working in the offices on the 3rd-floor pedway. Here's what we need you to do to visit.

  1. Call us first at 502-485-8216 and let us know what time you are coming. (This is important because sometimes there is only one person working. We may need to leave to visit the restroom, etc., so we want to make sure we are available to buzz you in when you arrive.)

  2. Park in the YMCA Parking Garage on the 2nd floor of the garage. Take the stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor pedway. Ring the doorbell at the pedway entrance and we will buzz you in.

  3. Enter the 2nd door on your left, and bring in your parking ticket to get it validated.

This is our last Bear Essentials of the 2021-22 school year. Look for us to return in late July! Have a happy summer!

Love,

Dr. Angela
