Start Drafting Your College Essay:
This summer is a good time to start drafting your essays. Your senior English class will have a unit on college essays in the fall, but it's great to come into that unit with a strong rough draft.

The Common Application (Common App) is a non-profit membership organization representing nearly 1,000 institutions of higher education. Each year, more than one million students apply to college, research financial aid and scholarships, and connect to college counseling resources through Common App. You can find a guide for getting ready to use the Common App this fall at https://www.commonapp.org/apply/first-time-students.
