Jobs and internships are a great way to earn money for college and get involved in your community. For a list of of opportunities for high school students in the Bay Area, please check out this resource!

Colleges love to see that students are active outside of the classroom, and finding a job, internship, or volunteer opportunity is a great way to do just that! It will also allow you to pursue your interests, gain valuable skills, and make a difference in your community. This can be listed as an extracurricular activity on your college applications, and you can also talk about what you learned from the experience on your college essays!
