Hello! π My name is Becky Hotung and I am the JCYC ETS Advisor at Balboa High School. I have spent the last 4 years supporting students on their path to higher education through various community based organizations in San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Buffalo.
I graduated from the University of Vermont in 2015, where I double majored in French & Spanish. During my time at UVM, I was also involved in intramural ice hockey and studied abroad for two semesters. π«π· πͺπΈ I am always happy to talk about my experience in college, so feel free to ask! π
The mission of JCYC ETS at Balboa is to support all students in preparing for and applying to college, with a special focus on students from low-income backgrounds and students who will be the first in their family to go to college. π Please let me know how I can support you!
