JB Line Week 2023 

Dates: Friday, October 13, 2023 - Sunday, October 29, 2023

Recruitment Details

1.   Seminar or Class Instructor

If you have a skill or technique that you’re proficient in, why don't you spend an hour or two sharing your knowledge with the Japanese community or introduce Japan to the local community? We welcome individuals who are interested in being instructors or recommendations for potential instructors.

Example:

·         Conduct hybrid (venue and Zoom) yoga or dance classes! The lesson fees from participants will be donated to JB Line.

·         Host Zoom seminars on Japanese art, and the participation fees will be donated to JB Line.

·         Offer a service for two hours, and the profits will be donated to JB Line.

·         Organize a yard sale and donate a portion of the proceeds to JB Line.

*Donations from lecturers to JB Line are tax-deductible.

*Support is available for those who are new to lecturing or events, or lack confidence in doing so.

2. Store/Company Sponsorship

Example:

·         Donate a percentage of sales during the event period to JB Line Week.

·         As a sponsor, make a direct donation to JB Line.

3. Donations of Auction Items

Please consider donating sports tickets or other items that can be mailed either to JB Line's office or directly to the winning bidder.

Examples:

·         Tickets for sports events, movies, art exhibition, etc.

·         Vacation home rentals

·         Gift cards for restaurants, stores, beauty services, etc.

·         Classes for exercise, yoga, dance, English conversation, etc.

The above items will be promoted to the wider community. The proceeds and course fees will be used to support JB Line's activities and increase awareness within the community.

Fundraising Goal and Use of Funds

Out of our annual fundraising goal of $40,000, we aim to raise $17,000 for JB Line Week’s target. The donations received will be used to support the clients and fund operations, including:
