Teachers Remarks: In German III, the main language of communication will be German. Topics include describing people, cooking and eating, discussing and comparing everyday items and different forms of entertainment, describing a house and its rooms as well as moving into a house, talking about art, and talking about different states in someone’s life. This course will prepare students to truly use German for communicative purposes, while still learning about culture. The content is mandated by IU Bloomington and the course is conducted like a college course on the IU campus. Students are expected to participate daily in German in the class conversation on a variety of topics. They will complete lon projects, written or presented entirely in German.
