Like to dig into the numbers and crunch away? The specialization in Applied Data Science is for you. Prefer to collect, organize, store, protect and access data for others? Then the Applied Information Science specialization is your ticket to success.Either way, these in-demand skills will take you anywhere you want to go, in any industry that relies on data.
How is a major in Applied Data and Information Science different from an Informatics major?
The Informatics program while focusing on technology, does not explicitly focus on the data pipeline or workflow, rather, it focuses on information, technology, and people.
