The Database Management and Administration program prepares the students for this fast growing field which requires skills in organization, storage, integration, retrieval and analysis of data. They are trained in database designing, building, managing, system troubleshooting and report generation. Students are introduced to the significant tasks required of database administrators, the internal structures and architectures of database management systems, the implementation of data security and integrity measures, and the assessment of data usage and availability on the web and within internal business systems. Students will apply business rules to database applications, enhancing the practices of the company or organization for competition in today’s global economy and current technology.
