Non -stop English

What could I tell you about 2023? I don’t know… there are a lot of things to say, but I could describe to you my life-changing experiences during this summer. I’m sure there is no person who doesn’t like travelling, especially abroad, and discovering new places and cultures around the world. So, I’d like to share my unforgettable experiences and I hope you’ll enjoy them!!!

First of all, I could have never imagined that I would have been abroad for a month, but it happened and I liked it very much.

Since I won a national contest, I’ve chosen my studying holiday in Seville, Andalusia’s heart, in Spain, with a package tour including studying English in a foreign school and visiting cities such as Cordoba, Granada, Malaga and Cadiz. I stayed in a university residence for two weeks (28th June - 12th July) and, meanwhile, I’ve made new acquaintances with other students who come from all over Italy (I’m still in touch with them). The food was great and exotic and I also learned how to cook paella!

The second holiday was, instead, offered by the school which I’m attending now and when I knew it, I thought I could have realised my biggest wish: going to London!

In fact, it was a two weeks studying trip in England (23rd July - 6th August) and I stayed in Ramsgate, in the south-east of the UK. I was hosted by a local family and I did a lot of activities, like: sightseeing tours in Broadstairs, Cambridge, Brighton, Canterbury and London; sports and crafts; evening parties; acquaintances with Spanish, Moroccan, Turkish, Polish guys and more.

What could I say right now? Of course I’ve experienced two sensational holidays during this summer, but I could think of some competences I’ve acquired, like: efficient organisation; more independence and self-confidence; language skills and better communication. So, in conclusion, I hope everyone will have the opportunity to travel abroad and come home with an open and developed mind!!!
