Grade 3-5 students were thrilled to present ‘The Rocky Monster Show’ written by Malcom Sircom to audiences in February 2023. This bizarre Rock 'n' Roll musical was a riotous mix of other well known stories and musicals. It told the story of the scientists Dan & Rebecca who are hired on to work with Professor Fenton along with his staff in his spooky house.
It had been such a long time since our last show...and audiences were not dissapointed with the show filled with laughter, music and dance!

This hilarious musical written by Craig Hawes had audiences and children enthralled! The ancient city of Old Baghdad was in chaos. Whilst the bustling bazaar was overrun with ruthless robbers, up in the palace Sultan Pepper’s precious princess and Royal Ruby had vanished! To make matters worse, it seemed the poor Sultan could nor trust his own Vizier, nor his mischievous monkey! This amazing show involved a cast and crew of 126 students from grade 1-5 and was sold out for every performance! The students did themselves proud and left the audience captivated!
Students enthusiastically sang, danced and acted their way through the fun musical The Granny Awards, written by Janet Gardner. In this musical, Granny (from the treasured story Little Red Riding Hood), recently retired from show business and honoured all of our favourite fairy tale characters. Who won Best Female Vocalist? Best Male Vocalist? Best Dramatic Scene? Best Choreography? Best Musical Number? And the most coveted Best Villain Award?
Colourful costumes, catchy songs, dynamic choreography and creative use of technology and set design made for an impressive show and a memorable experience for all involved. Audiences tuned in to see and hear their favourite performers from the Elementary school … all while keeping an eye on the Big Bad Wolf as he tried to steal the treasured Granny Award during the show! Even our youngest learners made cameo appearances in the live 'infomercials'. It was a show to remember!

Their commitment and enthusiasm were evident for all to see; everyone gave a smooth, polished performance. Who will ever forget the Pigaloo chief and his battling warriors? The grade 4/5 students had the opportunity to be a part of the musical ‘Oliver’. The production was an adaptation of the Lionel Bart production. According to the sell out audiences that came to each performance, the children out did themselves. Their dances were full of energy, their singing brought a tear to the eye of some and their lines delivered clearly and deliberately. With the entrance to the production being an area to showcase the students artworks, it was clear that each performance was a celebration of The Arts in the elementary school.

Once again our elementary students and staff showed just how talented they are when Rats went to stage in December 2010. Their commitment to excellence shone through in all aspects of this light hearted parody of the ancient story of The Pied Piper of Hamelin and evidence of the many hours of hard work was clear to see. ISPP has a long and proud tradition of presenting high quality theatre in a professional vein and this was continued by the wonderful performances of Rats.
Auditioned second through fifth graders took part in the show “Everybody Gotta Rock,” by Malcolm Sircom.
The well known tale of the Hare and the Tortoise came to life when students from grade 2-5 took part in a wonderful musical production of the show 'Zoom.' Students sang, danced and entertained audiences with their lively performances.
