Poem Compositions
November: The students selected a poem to work on. The first step was to decode the words into musical rhythms. Then the students played the rhythms on the xylophones. From there, they chose the order of the notes they liked best and wrote them down. That's composing! Lastly, they notated it all on a five line staff with a treble clef. See their work below!
