ISA Test Results from February 2024

The tests were taken by students from Grade 3 to Grade 10. Below are the average test  scores  by grade in each of the four test areas:

• Reading

• Writing - Narrative / Reflective

• Writing - Exposition / Argument

• Mathematical Literacy

The charts show the average for ISP students compared to the world-wide average scores in the same grade.  Because the worldwide average results do vary each year differences of less than 20 are unlikely to be statistically significant.

ISA Score - Progression Over Time Through 2023

In the charts through 2023 below we track the average scores for each grade cohort over time.  Some grades have a slightly longer 'history' than others because we staggered the introduction of these tests.  Also note, due to ISP transient student populations, the number of the same students continuing within a particular grade cohort greatly diminishes over a five year period.
