AI success measures
May 2025
AI guidelines for ISP have been developed and soft-launched in April 2025, coupled with two information meetings for parents about our current work on AI integration.
The job description of our e-learning facilitator has been re-focused to make sure this role can better support teachers and staff on all three campuses.
December 2024
In November, a Professional Development Day allowed us to launch a structured exploration of AI tools to support the work of teaching and non-teaching staff. Feedback surveys at the end of the PD Day showed a thirst for more smilar sessions, and so an all staff meeting later in November was used as another opportuity for staff to interface with AI tools or unpack the UNESCO Competency in AI Framework. The Senior Leadership Team has also initiated work with an outside consultant to create schoolwide guidelines on the ethical use of AI for staff and students, anchored in the UNESCO framework. These guidelines are expected to be rolled out at the end of winter. Additionally, at the request of the PTA, a webinar on AI and Education is being planned for January, with a follow up session to take place in the auspices of the ISP Association General Meeting which will take place in February.
In December, the Head of School attended in the Learning Planet Institute's AI & Competencies in Education (ACE) Summit. Speakers at the summit included the Director General of the IBO, as well as representatives from UNESCO. He has also been invited to the AI in Education Roundtable in February, hosted by Apple France.
