May 2024
Objective 1: The summer arrival has been planned for the incoming Head of School. The Board also has a June Retreat planned that will focus on the school's strategic direction related to facilities. Mr. Delaitre will participate via Zoom. He is now meeting weekly via Zoom with the current head of school.

Objective 3: At the April Board meeting, the Board was presented with a summary of each of the CIS/NEASC domains as well as highlights from the IB Self-Study. They have received invites to the welcome reception and board meeting with the visitors. Additional highlights in preparation for the accreditation visit were shared at the May Board meeting. The June Retreat will use the SWOT analysis as part of the data when discussing the school's strategic direction related to facilities.

March 2024
Objective 1: The transition plan has been executed as planned. Mr Delaitre visited ISP from 18-23 March and participated in a range of activities. The visit enabled him to build and strengthen relationships with the Board, SLT and staff, and provided opportunities for him to interact with parents and students. He also participated in the ELSA Teacher Development Day and IB Heads in France meeting, thereby allowing him to make connections with other international/bilingual/IB schools in France.

Objective 3: At the March Board meeting, the Board was presented an overview of Domain B and requested to read it prior to the evaluation visit. They were also advised of the status of preparations and dates and engagements during the evaluation week which the Board is expected to attend.

December 2023
Objective 1: The successful Head of School candidate, Antoine Delaitre, was announced to the community in November. A Head of School Transition Committee has been formed to support a smooth transition to new leadership. Part of this support is via the creation of a transition plan from December through early fall 2024. The plan includes virtual meeting opportunities for the incoming head with the current head, various members of the SLT, members of the Board of Trustees and the PTA, as well as occasions to present himself to the broader ISP community including parents, at the AGM, and alumni. An on-site visit is in the works for mid-March and a schedule will be created for this week.

Objective 3: Through the monthly Head of School report, as well as committee meetings, the Board has been kept aware of developments in the self-study re-accreditation process. Board trustees also participate in Domains B and H. The Board will have opportunities to review the Domain B Domain (Governance and Leadership) report early next year, in addition to the full report this Spring so that they are prepared for their participation in the June evaluation visit.

October 2023
Objective 1: The recruitment of a new Head of School is well underway, with semi-finalist interviews conducted in September. Three finalists were selected and their on-site visits with meetings with a range of community stakeholders completed by mid-October. The Board hopes to have chosen a new Head of School and completed agreement by the end of December. An announcement to the community is planned before the December break.

Objective 3: The SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis was reviewed by the Board at its September meeting in addition to the CIS Financial Report before submission. From discussions of the SWOT analysis, the Board, throught the Governance Committee has looked at other avenues to help the Board be proactive in monitoring developments that could potentially affect the school. Hence, there has been additional meeting times this year set aside for a few Board generative discussions to dialog on various ideas and challenges. Feedback on the CIS Domain B section is currently planned for the December meeting.
