Track & Field | Grade 3 - 5

Students in Grades 3-5 will participate in nine lessons with a focus on track & field activities.

  • Track events will focus on 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m running events.
  • Field events include high jump, long jump, standing triple jump, discus, modified javelin and long jump.

Students learn the correct technique for each of the mentioned events and take the time to record their best times and distances, these are then used to for students to set personal goals to improve and for selection for the ISKL Team.

Run Jump & Throw | Prep Senior - Grade 2

Students in Prep Senior - Grade 2 will participate in activities that focus on running, jumping and throwing.

  • These activities include jogging, sprinting, sliding. Jumping from one to two feet, jumping from two to two feet, jumping over low objects, Jumping for distance.
  • Throwing various objects for distance and for accuracy. Students learn the correct technique for all these activities which act as the basic skill base for all body movement activities.
