Melissa graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts from Pepperdine University in 2001. She was based in Los Angeles for nine years, working in production/stage management, scenic design, and theatre operations management before relocating home to Malaysia. She has managed over 100 shows, including musicals, operas, plays, festivals, events, concerts and touring productions in the USA, Australia, Edinburgh, Taiwan, Beijing, Xi'an, Singapore and Malaysia. Melissa also lectures and trains in the areas of stage, production and theatre management and has taught at ASWARA, Sunway University, New Era College and University Malaya. She has conducted workshops for local and international schools, My Performing Arts Agency (MYPAA), Istana Budaya and YaleNUS (Singapore). She is also an active scenic designer and began producing theatrical productions in 2014. Melissa is an Ensemble member of Furious Theatre Company, former Resident Artists at The Pasadena Playhouse, State Theatre of California and is currently an Associate at Cake Theatrical Productions in Singapore.
Joanne began her involvement in theatre after graduating from Sunway University College with a Diploma in Performing Arts & Media. Her involvement ranges from being backstage crew to props mistress. Her first musical was Kita The Musical back in 2010. She has worked on shows such as P.Ramlee The Musical, Princess Wen Cheng, Butterfly Lovers and I Have A Date with Spring. Joanne has also embarked on props design on projects such as Seussical Junior, The Secret Life of Nora and Aladdin for Enfiniti Vision Media and Hansel & Gretel and Grease for Dama Orchestra. Her recent props design work was with PAN Production for Into The Woods last year.
