Bring Your Own Laptop: Laptop and Software Requirements
Students in PYP 4-5, MYP and DP need to bring their own laptops to school. The laptop can be purchased from any dealer, as long as it meets the minimum requirements listed in the table below. Please check dealer websites regularly as sometimes they have special offers. Some dealers offer the option to pay in installments. Here are some suggested dealers:
More information on laptop usage is provided in the Class Parent Orientation Meetings in August.
Please note that a tablet or iPad is not sufficient and causes problems.
Chromebooks
For PYP students we recommend a Google Chromebook. Chromebooks are often cheaper (3000-3600 kr) and simpler machines and more user friendly for students. As a school that uses G-Suite, we have the ability to register any chromebook to our domain and automatically remotely install software, thereby ensuring students have the necessary software. We recommend any chromebook to be part of our school domain.
We recommend any Chromebook with touchscreen and that supports installation of Android apps. To see what Chromebooks support Android apps, it must be on this list.

Hellerup Campus Library
The new school library was established in August 2015. Opening hours are posted outside the library and families are encouraged to utilize the space. Classes visit and borrow books on a weekly basis.
Lost and damaged library materials policy
In order to maintain a high quality collection of library materials, library materials that are lost or damaged beyond repair will be billed for the cost of purchasing a new replacement.
The cost of replacement will be 150 DKK for books/materials, however if the lost/damaged book has a value of greater than 150DKK, the librarian will determine the appropriate fee. This fee covers the value of reordering the book or a similar replacement, as well as shipping, any customs and taxes, and in-house processing costs. If at a later date these costs are shown to be not sufficient to replace the value of the item lost, this cost of replacement may be subject to change.
The library is happy to accept a replacement copy, if that copy is the same as the title that was lost and is in new or “like new” condition. Condition to be approved by the librarian.
If the library book is found and returned to the library in good condition, the student can get a refund.

Loss and damage of student property
We advise that valuable items are not taken into school. Home insurance needs to cover loss or damage to student valuables; the school does not have insurance for personal possessions.
