Absence and Lateness
Attendance Policy
Regular attendance at school is important for students to keep up with their school work, and be part of the school community. Parents are responsible for providing a reason for their child’s absence in a timely manner.
When a child is absent due to sickness or extended holiday, parents must write to the class teacher with the expected dates of absence.
In the primary school and middle school, parents should inform the class teacher via Toddle (for 1-2 days absence).
In high school, parents must inform the teacher via ManageBac. Click here to view a Tutorial on how to submit attendance excusal on ManageBac.
For planned absences of more than TWO DAYS, parents must apply for permission by filling out the online absence request form linked below.
Lateness
Morning welcome is from 8:20 to 8:30, and school starts at 8:30. Attendance is taken every morning. If your child arrives after 8:30, they will be marked late on Toddle.
