Inspiration for lesson planning can come from many different places. The smallest phrase from our students, colleagues, or administration can spark an idea. As Shelby Chollett mentions in her “The Calm Mind” article for the month, “odds are, 90% of our conversations have to do with education and when we come across a neat idea or tool, we most likely exclaim, 'My kids would love this!'" (Chollett, 2021). As a result, we may also be utilizing social media to expand our perspectives and provide some creativity from outside of our immediate bubble of connectedness. Ken Shelton, Greg Tang, and Victoria Thompson are three individuals who can be those external influences from whom we can draw inspiration. A little bit about them is posted below. Be sure to check them out! After creating your account, I highly recommend "giving them a follow."
