Maintain a good GPA. Colleges often look at your sophomore year grades when making an admissions decision.
Be sure you makeup any classes you failed during your 9th grade, ask your counselors if you do not know what makeup is needed.
Continue activities you enjoyed from 9th grade or try new things!
Consider taking a leadership role in these activities, if available. Leadership opportunities will help develop you into a strong leader, which is a great skill to have!
If you are able, consider getting a part-time job! Part-time jobs are a great way to gain experience and earn a little money. If you choose to work a part-time job during school, be sure to stay on top of your school work.
