TIMESHEETS
Timesheets have been developed by IT and are ELECTRONIC Google sheets (you will be given a link to your timesheet). The Cover Managers, Payroll and HR depts. will have access to your Google Timesheet at any time during the month. At the end of the month, you will be required to print your final month-end timesheet on one side only), sign and date it. This timesheet must then be placed into the timesheet binder in the Faculty room so that they can be accessed for payment from the Payroll Dept. (Please remember that your timesheet data should not be exposed when put into the sleeve in the binder). It must be dated and signed by the last working day of the month by 15:00h.
Once your electronic timesheet has been shared with you, it may be filled in as you go. Each day that you work, you are to fill it in by choosing from the drop down menu for one function per line. The time you work will be displayed in MINUTES only and then the timesheet will calculate how many hours and minutes you have worked totally for the month and how much you have earned. At any time during the month, we all will be able to see how many Euros you have left until hitting the limit of the time.
How to fill in your timesheet:
If you, for example, carry out 3 functions on one day, you will list them on three different lines:
For example:
EY Assistant - 4 hours listed as 240 minutes
Primary Teacher - 2 periods listed as 90 minutes
Sec Cover Teacher - 2 - 60 min lessons, 1 - 30 min lesson and 1-20 min. duty will be totalled at 170 minutes for the day or
2 hrs 10 minutes (calculation total will be done by the sheet automatically).
Very often you will notice that the Cover Manager has already gone into the timesheet and has entered or altered your minutes. The Cover Manager will work very closely with you using the “four-eyes principle”, so if you see a mistake or do not understand the changes, just let the Cover Manager know.
