Tier 3 Strategies

Students in Tier 3 require more individualized supports than students in Tier 1 or Tier 2. Strategies are developed through the appropriate team based upon any special programs or services that students receive.

  • Referral to Behavior Specialist (SPED), Dean (Gen Ed), or the behavior interventionist on your campus

    • Note: If your campus has a PASS classroom, the PASS staff does NOT become involved with the student unless an ARD has been held to move the student into the PASS program

  • Review of Tier 2 intervention data

  • Based on data and progress made develop Behavior Plan of individualized strategies as warranted

  • Staff members responsible for implementing interventions will need to be trained on strategies and how to collect the data effectively
